What to do
Plastic sets with 10+ pieces take the largest share of estimated revenue in the top 10 listings.Estimate
Buyers in this niche often choose on piece count and price, not on material.
Compete on fit and finish, not piece count. Test this angle in positioning.
Bamboo sets of 5–8 pieces sell between $26.99 and $36.99.Amazon data
There is a clear price corridor for a mid-size bamboo set.
Check that the landed cost leaves a margin inside this corridor.
The two leading bamboo sets have 1,960 and 3,420 reviews.Amazon data
Trust is the main barrier to entry, not price.
Plan a review target and the launch budget around it.
