Privacy policy

Last updated: [[DATE OF PUBLICATION]]

This policy explains what personal data SellerTools.ai collects, why, who receives it and what choices you have. It applies to the website sellertools.ai, including the demo workspace and the early access form. SellerTools.ai is in early access: there are no customer accounts, payments or Amazon account connections yet. Section 7 describes how data will be handled when the service launches; we will update this policy before then.

1. Who we are

The website is operated by [[FULL LEGAL NAME]], individual entrepreneur (FOP) registered in Ukraine, [[REGISTERED ADDRESS]] ("we", "us"). We are the controller of the personal data described here. Contact: hello@sellertools.ai.

2. What we collect today

Usage statisticsPages viewed and product events such as “stage completed” with the stage, question and answer position – without names, emails or cookiesYour browser, through a cookieless analytics service (if enabled)
Technical dataIP address, browser type, time of request, error logsYour device, through our hosting provider

Diagnosis. Your answers are stored in your browser's local storage so you can return to them; they are not sent to us while you answer. If you add an agency name or website, it is stored with your answers and included in the share link. A report share link contains your answers in the link itself – anyone you send it to can open the report. You can clear your answers with “Start over” or by clearing your browser's site data.

The workspace preview uses fictional sample data. What you do there is not sent to us or stored on our side.

3. Why we use it

  • To contact you about early access, based on your consent given in the form. You can withdraw it at any time.
  • To respond to an expert review request and provide the review you ask for, based on our contract with you or the steps you ask us to take before one.
  • To email you your report and, if you ask, one reminder to re-check your product about four weeks later. We send news only if you tick the separate box.
  • To show public listing facts for the ASIN you enter, at your request.
  • To understand which parts of the diagnosis help and where people stop, using aggregated, cookieless statistics, based on our legitimate interest in improving the service.
  • To protect the form from spam and abuse – for example, limiting how many requests one network can send – based on our legitimate interest in keeping the website working.
  • To fix errors on the website, based on the same legitimate interest.

4. Who receives it

We share data only with service providers who help us run the website, and only what each of them needs:

Type of providerPurpose
Website hostingRunning the website and the forms
Request deliveryDelivering your requests to our team (email or a workflow tool)
Email deliverySending report emails, reminders and confirmations
Listing dataPublic listing data for the ASIN you enter (we send the ASIN and marketplace only)

You can ask us which providers we currently use at the contact address below.

We may disclose data if required by law. We do not sell personal data.

5. How long we keep it

  • Early access and expert review requests: until you ask us to delete them, or [[RETENTION PERIOD]] after the request is closed, whichever comes first.
  • Report emails: we keep your email address only if you opted in to news; a scheduled reminder is cancelled on request.
  • ASIN lookup results: cached for up to 24 hours.
  • Technical logs: [[LOG RETENTION PERIOD]].

6. Cookies

The website does not set analytics or advertising cookies. Usage statistics, if enabled, are collected without cookies. The diagnosis uses your browser's local storage only to keep your answers on your device. If we add analytics or advertising cookies, we will ask for your consent first.

7. When the service launches

Before SellerTools.ai collects account, billing or Amazon data, this policy will be updated to state:

  • the account and billing data we collect, and the payment provider that handles card details;
  • the Amazon data we receive – only after you authorize it on Amazon, only what the tools you use need, and never Amazon buyer personal information on purpose;
  • that one seller's Amazon data is used only to provide the service to that seller and is not disclosed to other users;
  • the AI and market-data providers that process data for the service, and the terms they process it under;
  • how long data is kept, including deletion after you disconnect Amazon or close your account;
  • the security measures in place.

Account holders will be notified by email before significant changes take effect.

8. International transfers

Our providers may process data outside your country. Where the law requires it, transfers rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live (including under the EU and UK GDPR), you can ask us to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, to restrict or object to processing, and to withdraw consent. Email hello@sellertools.ai. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

10. Children

The website and service are for businesses and are not intended for anyone under 18.

11. Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date above. See also the terms of service.
